Moving day
Construction of our new house was a loooong time in process…
We were blessed to host a team of 6 guys from our home church in Perry, NY in March. They gave a big “push” to finish up things in the house- installing drop ceiling, windows and window screens, wiring lights and outlets, painting, and pouring concrete bathroom vanities.
Moving was accomplished over the course of about a week, often taking a load or 2 per day. We unpacked each load and put (some) things in place in order to use the boxes and crates to pack the next load. Everyone worked together to get the job done!

On March 30, we spent our first night in the new place. Still without a working shower, we got ready for bed at the old house then drove to the new place to sleep. Over the next weeks we continued to finish details slowly, eventually making it feel like home!
